Short Bio:

Researcher in socio-technical systems, focusing on land use dynamics, mobility, and human behaviour to support decision-making for climate resilience and adaptation. My work combines spatial data and modelling approaches with human-centred methods and stakeholder co-design to analyse human–environment interactions and inform land-use planning, climate adaptation, and hazard resilience. I develop quantitative, spatially explicit tools and collaborate internationally with public authorities to translate research into policy-relevant and practical solutions.

She is coordinator of the Resilient Hydrotwin Project, developing Behavioural Digital Twins and GIS-based tools that integrate human, technical, and environmental systems.

Research Interests:

- Resilience assessment and management of socio-technical and infrastructure systems.

- Preparedness, adaptation, and climate-informed planning of infrastructure.

- Integration of human behaviour and social dynamics into resilience management and decision frameworks.

- Climate-change impacts on critical infrastructure and community vulnerability.

- Understanding, modelling, and simulating complex systems using emerging technologies, GIS and Digital Twins.

- Decision support for climate resilience and adaptation policies.
